Puravisione’s tips for the Fuorisalone 2025

The Milan Design Week is just around the corner, and with it comes the highly anticipated Fuorisalone. If you’ve landed on this page, design surely matters to you. Therefore, Puravisione’s advice is to avoid scheduling anything between April 7th and 13th, the week when Milan is transformed with art, installations, and exciting initiatives. This edition’s theme is Connected Worlds – an invitation to create a fertile dialogue between the physical and digital worlds, between different cultures, or between humans and the environment. Connected Worlds is a call to design with the aim of promoting a sense of unity and global cooperation.
Piscine Cozzi
Among the many options offered by Fuorisalone, we’ve picked out a few that we find particularly interesting and give you the chance to explore spaces that are typically closed to the public. One example? The historic former public baths at Piscina Cozzi, which feature a stunning marine-themed mosaic. Here, 6:AM presents “Two-Fold Silence.”

Pinacoteca di Brera
Another must-see is the courtyard of the Pinacoteca di Brera, where British artist Es Devlin will create Library of Light, a performative light installation. It’s a journey through science, philosophy, and spirituality, aiming to bring light—seen as a metaphor for knowledge—back to the heart of the narrative.
Arlecchino Train and Padiglione Reale
Fashion is no exception, as seen with Prada, featuring the iconic Prada Frames—a series of talks focused on mobility for this edition. The talk series, curated once again by Formafantasma, will take place aboard the recently restored Treno Arlecchino, originally designed in the 1950s by Gio Ponti and Giulio Minoletti. Another venue for the talks is the Padiglione Reale, the historic waiting room for Italian royalty and heads of state inside Milan’s Central Station.

Città Paradiso, Corriere della Sera Headquarters
Artificial intelligence and the reflections it inspires are the central focus of Città Paradiso for Solferino 28 Design, an installation by architect Mario Cucinella. Large inflatable spheres float in the center of the inner courtyard of the iconic Corriere della Sera headquarters, which opens its doors for the occasion, offering a thought-provoking exploration of imaginary cities and ideal cities where each of us might wish to live.

La dolce attesa, Rho Fiera Milan
Turning attention for a moment from the Fuorisalone to the Salone Internazionale del Mobile at Rho Fiera, we have another guest star. After the famous Le stanze del pensiero installation by the late David Lynch in 2024, the 2025 edition will feature another director, Oscar-winning Paolo Sorrentino, as curator. Pavilions 22 and 24 will host La dolce attesa.
“The aim is to create a space where waiting is tricked, and where people end up getting distracted and momentarily forget the real reason they’re there,” says Sorrentino.

Charlotte Perriand, Padiglione Visconti Tortona 58
One last gem that’s worth seeing, in our opinion, is Saint Laurent – Charlotte Perriand, curated by Anthony Vaccarello. For the occasion, Vaccarello brought to life 4 design pieces that Perriand had only sketched and designed between 1943 and 1967. The result? Bold pieces with strong character, which will be sold in a limited edition.
